Roads have reopened around Edinburgh's Holyrood Park following a large grass fire on Arthur's Seat.

The alarm was raised at about 1515 BST and firefighters said the blaze had spread rapidly.

Police closed roads within and around the park and motorists were unable to drive from Dynamic Earth to the Royal Commonwealth Pool.

The road was also closed from the Commonwealth Pool roundabout to Duddingston village.
