Pensioner dies after chasing teenagers

A pensioner has died after collapsing while chasing youths who were throwing vegetables at his home in West Lothian.

David Alexander, 66, died in hospital after suffering a heart attack in the Honeyman Court area of Armadale on Sunday.

Mr Alexander was then taken to St John's Hospital but died on Friday.

Two 14-year-old boys have been charged in connection with the incident and a report will be sent to the Children's Reporter.
