Leith Docks body find 'not suspicious'

The death of a man whose body was found floating in Leith Docks was not suspicious, police have confirmed.

Paul Dierikx, 51, was discovered by workers clearing rubbish at Victoria Bridge at 0945 GMT on Monday.

Lothian and Borders Police divers were called to the scene to recover the body and a post-mortem examination was carried out.

Initially the death had been treated as "unexplained" by police. A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
