School bus' broken window triggers emergency response

A large-scale emergency response was launched after an incident involving a school bus in Fife.

Fourteen ambulance crews and personnel were sent to the scene near Collessie, in what was initially described as a full special operations response.

The response was quicly scaled down after it emerged that a broken side window had been caused by a stone, thrown up from the road.

One pupil suffered a minor injury in the incident, which happened at about 0820 BST at the A91 junction with the B937.
