Two men arrested over John Carter murder

Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of a 44-year-old man in Edinburgh in February.

Lothian and Borders Police said a 40-year-old man and a 47-year-old man had been charged over the death of John Carter.

Mr Carter died in hospital after being found unconscious in a lift at a block of flats at Salamander Court in Leith on 24 February.

Both men are expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court later.
