Rosyth assault victim death sparks murder inquiry

A murder inquiry has been launched after a man who was assaulted last month in Fife died in hospital.

Alexander Ormiston, 63, is believed to have been attacked at a house in Peasehill Fauld, Rosyth, on 18 May.

Police only became aware of the incident days later, after Mr Ormiston was treated at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh.
