Crash tailbacks on Edinburgh city bypass

A two-car crash in Edinburgh has caused huge tailbacks for almost two hours on the city's bypass.

The collision between a Mazda and a Fiat outside The Marriott Hotel on Glasgow Road meant traffic jams at The Gyle roundabout.

The crash happened at 11:40. The motorists involved were unhurt.

Lothian and Borders Police said traffic problems were being caused because the drivers were waiting for their vehicles and debris to be uplifted.
