Man killed in Cupar one-car crash named

Police have named a 40-year-old man who died following a one-car road crash in Cupar.

Gary Falconer, from Coaltown of Wemyss, was driving on the Q45 Clushford Toll Crossroads when his car came off the road on 1 October.

He died at the scene and a 13-year-old girl was taken to Dundee's Ninewells Hospital with minor injuries.

His family said they had been left deeply saddened, describing Mr Falconer as a family man and loving father.

Fife Police have appealed for any witnesses to the accident to contact them.
