Woman trapped by reversing van in Lochgelly in Fife

A pedestrian has been rescued after being trapped under a van after it reversed over her in Fife.

Fife Constabulary said the 43-year-old woman was being treated for non-life threatening injuries after the accident in Bank Road, Lochgelly.

The road was closed to allow for an investigation following the incident, which happened just after 8:30. It has now been reopened.

The woman was being treated at the Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline.
