Edinburgh zoo's two giant pandas have gone back on show to the public, after they were hit with a bout of illness.

Tian Tian and Yang Guang were taken off public view while they were recovering from colic.

Yang Guang, the male panda, was the first to be hit with the condition, earlier this month.

Then at the weekend, the female, Tian Tian was also given time to rest after developing a milder form of the same condition.

The giant pandas arrived from China on 4 December and are the only ones of their kind in the UK.
