Shopkeeper injured in Edinburgh robbery

Police are hunting a man who attacked a shopkeeper and stole cash from the till of a grocer's shop.

The robbery happened at Assars Grocers in Boswall Parkway, in the Pilton area of Edinburgh, at about 19:00 on Sunday.

The victim sustained a minor head injury and police said he was left shaken by the incident.

The suspect was between 25 and 30 years old, about 6ft tall and thin, with a pale complexion. He was wearing a dark top with the hood up and dark bottoms.
