Police name man killed in Edinburgh crash

A man who died during a crash involving three vehicles in Edinburgh has been named by police.

Billy Casement, 30, from Edinburgh, died after the Subaru he was a passenger was involved in a collision with a Renault Clio and a Peugeot van.

The crash, which saw another man taken to hospital, happened on Maybury Road on Wednesday at 19:40.

The road was closed for five hours while police officers carried out an investigation at the scene.

Police continue to appeal for witnesses to come forward.
