Five men in hospital after crash on M8 at Hermiston Gait
Five men have been taken to hospital following a crash between two vans on Scotland's busiest motorway during rush hour.
Emergency services were called to the crash on the M8 at 07:10 just before the roundabout at junction one, Hermiston Gait, heading into Edinburgh.
The men in the Citroen Berlingo and Ford Transit vans suffered only minor injuries, police said.
The crash caused huge delays to commuters.
The accident, which has since been cleared, also had an impact on traffic coming into the city from the M9.
