Dovecote studios in Edinburgh celebrates 100 years
One of the world's leading tapestry studios is celebrating its 100th birthday.
The Dovecote studios in Edinburgh is marking its centenary with an exhibition of work from artists such as Sir Peter Blake and Peter Saville.
There is also a contemporary opera written by Edinburgh author, Alexander McCall Smith.
Also on display will be rarely seen tapestries charting the development of the art form over the last 100 years.
Dovecote studios were founded in 1912 by the Marquess of Bute.
