M8 motorway reopens after crash at West Lothian

The M8 motorway eastbound has reopened following a crash in West Lothian.

A Land Rover Freelander and a Renault Megane were involved in the collision near Junction three at 09:45. The road was reopened at 11:45.

A man and three children, who were in the Land Rover, were taken to St John's Hospital for precautionary checks.

The female driver of the Renault Megane was taken to the ERI for treatment with a minor injury. The police are appealing for witnesses.
