Dog walk woman struck by car in Leslie
A woman is in a serious condition in hospital after she was knocked down while walking her dogs in Fife.
The 75-year-old was struck by a car on High Street, Leslie, near the junction with Douglas Road, at about 05:40.
The woman was taken to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.
Insp Brenda Sinclair, of Fife Constabulary, urged witnesses to come forward and said: "The road will be closed for some time while an investigation takes place."
She added: "If anyone saw a woman walking with two dogs in Leslie this morning, or saw the accident, please contact the police."
