Man arrested over bus stop incident in Edinburgh

A man has been arrested and charged with causing a breach of the peace at a bus stop in Edinburgh.

The 40-year-old is being held in connection with an incident which was reported to police investigating indecent assaults on two women.

The third complaint concerned a man who was said to be acting suspiciously around a woman waiting for a bus at George IV Bridge.

The 40-year-old is due to appear in court at a later date.

Police said they were now following a positive line of inquiry in relation to the two indecent assaults, which took place at bus stops on Princes Street and The Mound.
