Man arrested over Hearts v Celtic match smoke bomb

A 19-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a smoke bomb being let off in the stand at a football match in Edinburgh.

The incident happened at the Hearts v Celtic fixture on 28 November.

The arrest was made following inquiries carried out by Lothian and Borders Police with the Football Co-Ordination Unit for Scotland.

The teenager has been bailed to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on 30 January.
