Man in hospital after car and bus crash on Old Dalkeith Road

A man has been taken to hospital suffering from chest injuries after a crash in Edinburgh.

The head-on-crash, involving a car and a bus, happened on Old Dalkeith Road at 08:15. Two other people suffered minor injuries.

The crash happened near Newton Church Road junction.

Lothian and Borders Police said the road was "completely blocked" at Danderhall. It is not known when it will reopen.
