Man in court over death of pilot Steven Barrett in Edinburgh
A 23-year-old man has made a second appearance in court charged with the murder of a pilot at an Edinburgh flat.
Darren McLauchlan, from Edinburgh, has also been charged with attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
Steven Barrett, 27, who was a Flybe first officer working out of Edinburgh Airport, was found in Lochend Butterfly Way in the early hours of 6 April.
Mr McLauchlan made no plea or declaration. He was fully committed and remanded in custody.
