Five injured in two-car collision at Pathhead

Five people have been injured in a crash on the A68 road at Pathhead in Midlothian.

Two vehicles collided close to the Stair Arms hotel on Saturday evening.

The injured were three women, aged 83, 75, and 53; and two men aged 84 and 81. They were all taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment.

It is not thought any of their injuries are life-threatening.
