Women accused of stealing bank cards from 86-year-old man

Three women are to stand trial accused of stealing bank cards from an 86-year-old man before using them to take more than £3,700 from his bank accounts.

Sara Ferguson, Tracey Lawrence and Emma Sneddon are alleged to have targeted Robert Lockhart at his Glenrothes home between 1 August and 6 September 2013.

Ferguson, 26, from Buckhaven, Lawrence, 39, from Glenrothes, and Sneddon, 30, from Glenrothes, each deny theft.

A trial date was set in November at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

The trio are first said to have stolen bank and Post Office account cards in his name before using them to take cash from ATM machines in Fife.
