Two arrests after cocaine found in vehicle near Polbeth

Cocaine with an estimated street value of more than £150,000 has been seized after police stopped and searched a vehicle in West Lothian.

Officers found three kilos of the drug in the vehicle on the A71 near Polbeth.

A man and woman were detained in connection with the discovery.

Police said a further £53,000 worth of cocaine and drugs equipment were recovered in related searches at addresses in Midlothian and West Lothian.

The 34-year-old man and woman, aged 54, are due to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court Monday.
