Man charged for brandishing knives in West Lothian supermarket
A man who was brandishing two knives in a West Lothian supermarket in an aggressive manner has been charged by police.
The man was holding a knife in each hand when he entered Tesco in Bathgate on Thursday at 22:00.
Police officers detained the man and he was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Police Scotland said a 27-year-old man was being held on offensive weapons charges.
A police spokeswoman said: "Inquiries are still ongoing and he will appear in court on a later date."
