Fire at car scrap yard in Fife treated as 'suspicious'
Detectives investigating a large fire at a car scrap yard in Fife have said they are treating the blaze as suspicious.
A joint investigation between Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has begun after the fire swept through Nobles scrap yard in Kirkcaldy.
The alarm was raised at 22:30 on Tuesday.
At one point, sixteen fire appliances were involved in extinguishing the blaze.
The road around the industrial estate was also closed as a precautionary measure and no one was hurt.
