Smoking woman dies from aerosol burns in Edinburgh

A woman who burst into flames in an Edinburgh cafe after sniffing aerosols and smoking a cigarette has died.

The 33-year-old, who suffered 30% burns in Costa at South Bridge Street last Tuesday, was taken to St John's Hospital in Livingston for treatment.

Police have now confirmed the woman died in the hospital on Friday.

A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
