Katherine Armit, 73, dies after A92 car and tractor collision

A 73-year-old woman has died in hospital after being seriously injured when a car collided with a tractor in Fife on Wednesday morning.

Katherine Armit was the front-seat passenger in the Ford Fiesta when the crash happened on the A92.

The crash took place at the junction with the Freuchie to Kettlebridge road at about 10:55.

Ms Armit died on Thursday evening. A 47-year-old woman, who was driving the car, sustained an injury to her wrist.

The 18-year-old male driver of the tractor was uninjured.
