Cyclist dies following collision in Fife

A cyclist who was seriously injured in a collision on the A92 in Fife on Saturday has died in hospital.

David Christie, 49, died at the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy on Thursday. He had been knocked down in Freuchie.

His family said: "David was a much loved son and father. He will be hugely missed by family and friends.

"We want to thank the staff in the intensive care unit for being so kind and caring while looking after him."

They added: "The family is finding it extremely difficult to come to terms with this tragic loss."
