Edinburgh's Princes Street has reopened after it was closed following reports a man had fallen from the Scott Monument.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 09:30 where the 41-year-old man was pronounced dead.

All bus services were diverted away from Princes Street and tram services were running between the airport and the West End.
