High Street in Edinburgh reopens after injured man probe

The Royal Mile in the centre of Edinburgh has been reopened after a section of the road was closed when a man was found injured in the street.

Emergency services were called to the High Street after the man was found at about 09:15. It was reopened at 11:30.

He was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

The road was closed between North Bridge and Canongate. Police Scotland said it was carrying out an investigation.
