Man charged over cyclist hit and run in Rosyth

A man has been charged by police following a hit-and-run with a cyclist in Fife

The collision, between a black car and a tandem bike, happened between 16:00 and 17:00 on Saturday 19 March in Admiralty Road, Rosyth.

A woman riding the bike sustained a serious injury to her wrist and was treated at Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline.

A 27-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.

He will be reported to the procurator fiscal.

Sgt Hilary McKinlay, of Police Scotland, said: "One of the tandem riders suffered a painful injury during this incident and we're still appealing for any witnesses to come forward."
