Motorist injured after car lands in Glenrothes garden

A motorist is in a serious condition in hospital after his car left the road and overturned in a garden.

The 67-year-old man was driving a silver Kia Cee'd in Glenrothes on Sunday when the accident happened.

Police said the car landed in a garden in South Parks Road at around 20:20. No-one else was injured.

They have appealed for information from anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw the car in area on Sunday evening.
