Three men arrested over drug haul in Wishaw
Three men have been arrested after amphetamine with a street value of £106,000 was found in a car in Wishaw, North Lanarkshire.
Police discovered the drugs and a four-figure sum of cash after stopping and searching a car in the town's Clencairn Avenue at about 1645 BST on Wednesday.
Three men, aged 29, 46, and 61, were arrested in connection with the find.
They are expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Thursday. A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
Meanwhile, Strathclyde Police said it had seized cocaine and amphetamine, with an estimated street value of £57,000, from two addresses in Renfrewshire.
Officers acting under warrant discovered the drugs during raids at premises in Rowan Street and Esoedair Street, Paisley, at about 1040 BST on Wednesday.
No one has been arrested and inquires are continuing.
