Two men badly injured in large-scale fight in Glasgow
A man has been stabbed and another has suffered serious head injuries in a fight involving between 10 and 15 men and women in Glasgow.
Police received reports of a large-scale disturbance in London Road near Kerr Street at 2350 GMT on Friday.
The Strathclyde force said two men were seriously assaulted. One, aged 23, received a stab wound and a 53-year-old sustained a serious head injury.
Both were taken to hospital where their conditions were described as stable.
Det Sgt Jackie Ferrie said the area was usually busy with pedestrians and cars.
"It's possible someone may have been making their way home either in a taxi or a bus and may have seen something suspicious," she said.
"I would urge anyone who has information about the incident or about any of the individuals involved to get in touch with us as a matter of urgency."
