Three held over Glasgow drug and gun find

Three people have been arrested after police seized drugs, a weapon and ammunition from a house in Glasgow.

Officers acting under warrant searched the house in Alford Street, in the city's Sighthill area, at about 0940 GMT on Thursday.

They seized drugs, believed to be diamorphine and amphetamine, with an estimated street value of £180,000, along with a handgun and four bullets.

Two men, aged 19 and 23, and a 42-year-old woman were arrested.

They are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday.
