Police seize drugs worth £100,000 in Paisley

Strathclyde Police have seized about 100kg of drugs after stopping a car in Paisley on Saturday evening.

The cannabis resin, with an estimated street value of £110,000, was discovered in a vehicle in the town's Incle Street at about 1930 GMT.

A police spokesman said a 27-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the seizure.

A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal. The man is expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday.
