Murder probe after man, 20, dies in East Kilbride

The death of a 20-year-old man in South Lanarkshire is being treated as murder, police have said.

Paul Douglass died following a disturbance at Mallard Crescent in East Kilbride at about 2300 BST on Friday 29 April.

Strathclyde Police said the death was being treated as murder following a post-mortem examination.

Officers are carrying out "extensive" inquiries to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
