Seven people in court over Celtic gun alert

Seven people have appeared in court charged with possessing a firearm outside Celtic's training ground at Lennoxtown.

Ashley Pittner, Amy Kirkwood and Natalie Gray, all aged 20, were accused of possessing the weapon and intending to cause fear of violence.

Katrina Henderson, 21, Rachel McElveen, 19, Gary Booth, 17, and Ross Hind, 19, faced the same charges.

The seven made no plea or declaration and were granted bail.

They all appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court.

Armed police were called to the complex in East Dunbartonshire on Sunday night following reports that someone had been spotted with a gun.
