Fuel and generator stolen from Paisley BT exchange site

Thieves have stolen 800 litres of fuel and a diesel generator from a BT exchange site in Renfrewshire.

A lorry towed the generator and fuel bowser away from a site on Neilston Road, Paisley, near Morrisons supermarket, at 2000 BST on Sunday.

The royal blue flat-bed lorry then headed towards Paisley town centre.

Both items were marked with 'Speedy Hire Ltd' branding. The fuel is worth more than £900. Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
