Four teenagers charged with murder of Christopher Knox

Four teenagers have appeared in court in Greenock accused of murdering a 17-year-old.

Christopher Knox, from the town's Crisswell Close, died in hospital after being stabbed on Friday night.

David Paton and Adam Johnstone, both 16, and David Rice and Sean O'Neill, both 18, appeared at Greenock Sheriff Court. All four live in the town.

A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in court on Monday charged with murder.

None of the accused made a plea or declaration and were all remanded in custody until they reappear in court later this month.

Christopher was stabbed in Kylemore Lane, Greenock, at about 2250 BST on Friday.
