Shop owner in Glasgow threatened with knife

Detectives are looking for two masked men who threatened a Glasgow shop owner with a knife.

The robbery happened at Knightswood Mini-market, known locally as Sammi's, in Archerhill Road at about 1325 BST on Monday.

The two men then ran up Archerhill Road towards Archerhill Avenue. They were of medium build and wore dark clothes.

Strathclyde Police said the 41-year-old store owner was uninjured but was left shaken.

A small amount of money was taken.

Both men were said to have local accents.

Det Sgt Stuart Glass said: "This is a local shop within a busy area, at the time of the incident people will have been out and about so it's possible someone saw the suspects either entering the shop or running off after the robbery.

"I would appeal to anyone who may have seen something or who may have any knowledge regarding this crime to get in touch with us."
