Boy, 14, injured in Lenzie stabbing

A 14-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after he was stabbed near Glasgow.

He was injured during an incident on the Moss in Lenzie shortly after 1900 BST on Friday.

The boy is being treated at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. His condition was described as stable.

Strathclyde Police said a 16-year-old youth was detained following the incident in an open area close to the East Dunbartonshire town.
