Man's death in Paisley treated as suspicious

Police are treating as suspicious the death of a man whose body was found at his home in Renfrewshire.

Officers were called to the property in Tannahill Road, Paisley, at 13:15 BST on Thursday after the 51-year-old's body was discovered.

A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out to find out how the man died.

Strathclyde Police are carrying out "extensive inquiries" into the circumstances surrounding the death.
