Taxi driver robbed by passengers in Glasgow

A taxi driver has been robbed by three men he picked up in the east end of Glasgow.

It happened at about 01:25 after the 43-year-old collected the three passengers in Dennistoun.

They threatened him and when he pulled over outside a BP petrol station on Alexandra Parade they stole a small sum of money and fled.

The driver was unhurt but left extremely shaken. Police described the robbery as "callous".

They have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
