Body found at St Patrick's Church in Glasgow

A man's body has been found at a church in Glasgow.

It was discovered by staff at St Patrick's Church in the Anderston area of the city at about 09:40 on Friday.

The man, believed to have been in his 30s, has not yet been identified. It is understood that there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.

The body of Polish student Angelika Kluk, who was murdered by serial killer Peter Tobin, was found at the church five years ago.

A spokeswoman for Strathclyde Police said a post mortem examination was due to take place and inquiries were continuing.
