Probe into 'unexplained' death of baby in Garthamlock

The death of a nine-month-old baby boy at a house in the north east of Glasgow is being treated as "unexplained", police have said.

The infant's death was reported at a house in Tillycairn Drive, in the city's Garthamlock area, at about 9:40 on Sunday.

A post-mortem examination will be held to establish how the baby boy died.

A spokeswoman for Strathclyde Police said inquiries were under way into the circumstances of the child's death.
