Man's death in Inverclyde treated as suspicious

The death of a 33-year-old man, whose body was found in Inverclyde, is being treated as "suspicious" by police.

The man's body was found in a flat in Maxwell Street, Port Glasgow, in the early hours.

Strathclyde Police said a post-mortem examination would take place to establish the cause of death.

Det Insp Colin Carey said the inquiry was at a very early stage and police were trying to establish how the man received his injuries.
