A 15-year-old boy has been cleared of raping a woman in an alleyway in Glasgow city centre.

The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was accused of being part of an attack on a 38-year-old woman in Renfrew Lane on 11 February.

The High Court in Glasgow heard the charge had been withdrawn.

Emanuel Risti, 16, remains accused of abducting the woman from Dalhousie Street and raping her on Renfrew Lane, near the Pavilion Theatre.

He is due to return to court next month for a further hearing.
