Heroin dealer Jason Cleary to lose £49,000 crime cash
A heroin dealer from Inverclyde who was jailed for 14 years after being tracked to Spain has been ordered to hand over £49,000 in crime profits.
Jason Cleary, 34, from Greenock, went on the run for more than two years after failing to appear at the High Court in Glasgow in May 2007.
He was later convicted of being concerned in the supply of heroin.
At the High Court in Edinburgh, Cleary was given six months to pay the £49,000 seized under proceeds of crime laws.
