Fans sought over sectarian songs on train

British Transport Police (BTP) are looking to trace about 25 football fans who sang sectarian songs on a train between Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The incident is believed to have involved Rangers supporters returning from their team's home game at Ibrox against Motherwell on 2 January.

BTP said the incidents took place on the 22:30 Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh Waverley service.

The fans involved got off the train at Falkirk High station at about 23:00.

BTP have asked anyone with information about the incidents to contact them.
